Michelle Bahn, MD
Dr. Michelle Bahn is a neurosurgeon specializing in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. She has extensive experience in treating diseases of the brain and spine, and she has special interest in degenerative spine disease, herniated discs, and brain tumors. She also is an expert at treating diseases of the peripheral nerves.
Dr. Bahn graduated with honors from the University of California at San Diego. She studied medicine at the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. Dr. Bahn completed her neurosurgical training at the University of Minnesota, after completing a fellowship in functional neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bahn has also done extensive research at both St. Louis University and Washington University on brain tumors and stroke. She also has interest and training in peripheral nerve diseases.
Dr. Bahn has written book chapters on functional neurosurgery and has a number of publications on brain tumor research. (Names on publications appear as 'Won' which is her maiden name.)
